Welcome to Little Home Life

Hi, I’m Teresa! I was born and raised in Northern Italy, and love brought me across the ocean to make a home in America with my husband.

I believe the simplest moments can make a home feel warm and alive: a loaf of bread rising on the counter, a child’s laughter, a quiet prayer, or something made with your own hands.

I started Little Home Life to share what I’m learning along the way, from cooking and homemaking to making things by hand and finding simpler ways to care for my family. If you enjoy a slower pace of life, traditional skills, natural living, and making a home that reflects what matters most, I hope you’ll feel at home here.

What shapes my days

I’m drawn to a slower, simpler rhythm. One where God is at the heart of our home, family is a gift to be cherished, and even the most ordinary tasks become ways to love and serve those around us.

Here, I share the things that shape my days:

  • Homemaking: caring for my home and finding purpose in the everyday work.
  • Cooking from scratch: making meals for my family and learning traditional kitchen skills.
  • Motherhood: finding joy in raising children and nurturing the next generation.
  • DIY and handmade skills: learning to make useful things with my own hands.
  • Natural living: learning to care for my family and home in more natural ways.
  • Minimalism: creating a home that feels peaceful, orderly, and easy to live in.

Why Little Home Life

Because so much of family life happens at home. It’s where we cook, learn, work, pray, raise our children, and care for one another in a hundred ordinary ways.

I started this blog to share those parts of life: the skills I’m learning, the things I’m making, and the ways I’m trying to build a home that reflects what matters most to our family.

A little about me

I’m the fifth of eight children, a classically trained pianist, and someone who can happily spend an afternoon organizing a cluttered room. I love early mornings, walking barefoot, and reading one book after another.

I’m always learning something new, whether it’s an old-fashioned homemaking skill, a new DIY project, or another way to simplify our daily life. One day, I’d love to make nearly everything we use at home with my own hands. I have a feeling that will keep me busy for a while!

I’m so glad you’re here

Whether you’re looking for a new recipe, a project to try, ideas for simplifying your home, or encouragement in motherhood, I hope you find something here that inspires you or gives you the confidence to try something new.

Thanks for stopping by. I’m glad to have you here!
